So in the past few months a lot has changed in my life.. I'm finally getting back business! I had a couple of people who held me back in my main goal in life.. I realized that people around me just wanted me to do bad in life and not be successful.. I learned to get away from those people and am finally free to conquer what i have in mind!!! I have a lot of businesses in mind. I am currently working on a couple of businesses that might change my life. i am getting to know the right people and people that can benefit me in my goal.. My goal will soon be exposed but not until it has became a reality.. I thank everyone who was there for me and told me to never give up on my dream..

Where I might be this weekend!

so this weekend I am going where all my friends keep anticipating me to go. SABOR NIGHT CLUB in SAN JOSE CA. This place is known to be the new "it" spot in San Jose. Wet Night Club use to be the "it"spot before the stabbing occurred inside the club and now it does not feel safe to go there. But im looking forward to go to our bottle service and see what the hype is all about, Ill keep you guys updated on how the night went.

The artist of Obama's Hope posters get arrested for dumb reasons!

Fairey was arrested for for two warrants. No not even because he is trying to give Obama a Positive image by making these really creative and inspirefull posters. The police department could not even cut him some slack. If this were Paris Hilton, he would probably be siting near his pool drinking an alcoholic beverage. Fairey is helping the PRESIDENT people why would they not just drop his charges. His messages are positive and no one is getting hurt for his art. the police could not even describe the nature for his arrest. That shows exactly how dumb the charges are. there is more to his arrest than the two warrants. Maybe "America" is mad that we have a black president and people are just not ready to accept it. ITS HAPPENED PEOPLE STOP TRYING TO DENY IT AND JUST DEAL WITH IT! ok ill write about other obscene nonsense when i come across it

My favorite Superbowl commercial of 09!

This commercial really had me laughing for the longest. I thought that E*Trade made their company seem more interesting since i saw this commercial.I look at the E*Trade logo and picture these babies talking. This is the best commercial of the Superbowl in my opinion.

The Verizon advertising campaign was really brilliant!. I thought that the way Verizon presented their campaigns as the wireless company that has the "Best" signal really motivates people and actually makes them believe that Verizon has great mobile reception. By making Verizon Wireless seem as though they have the best wireless signal than any other wireless provider, is an extremely smart way symbolizing the companies quality of service The commercials and the ads are always brilliant because it always shows a person using a Verizon wireless cell phone and always has a signal and its never encounters dead zones. these commercials give Verizon Wireless a great image on how dependable there service is and that's exactly what Advertising Agencies are supposed to do.

A really smart and "PRICLESS' Campaign

The Mastercard Priceless advertising campaign was one of my favorite campaigns. I think its brilliant how they advertised Master card as a personal approach which makes people think that Mastercard should be in everyone’s lives. The slogan "there’s some things money cant buy, for everything else there’s Mastercard" is really creative and the commercials all used the same slogan and images regarding exactly what the slogan says. Sure people might think it’s about time Mastercard comes up with a new campaign but I still think it’s a really brilliant one and it would have been an honor working for that campaign.

I really disliked the Quiznos sandwich advertising campaign that involved a furry deformed creature that did not make any since to me whatsoever. When I saw the commercial and magazine ads, I did not understood what was going on or what Quiznos had to offer. I also did not know what Quiznos in general was. since the ad was supposed to introduce Quiznos as a brand, the campign really did a bad job by not explaining what they sold at Quiznos instead they had a ugly furry creature with a hat that really made no since to me and I'm sure many other people. I had no idea what Quiznos was back then and i am still not too clear, all i know is that they sell sandwiches there now and thats because i happened to run into a quiznos at the mall. Badd advertising Bad.

My Experience with Myspace

Myspace is a way to connect friends and family and that is exactly what this website is made to do. But it also connects people with enemies and people that are only looking for trouble. Myspace does not warn you about the risks of exposing yourself to the whole world. Myspacers (people) are becoming extremely comfortable using Myspace and are exposing a lot of personal information for others too see. People are posting bulletins of what they are doing or were they will ne at a specific time. This makes it easy for online predators to find their victims and harass them. Sure MySpace can be fun but only if people don’t take it as serious and actually put their real information on the site. There are many people I know including myself that put a lot of fake information or just leave certain questions blank in our MySpace for the same purpose that I don’t really want people knowing my business. I just have MySpace as a joke really because I am not trying to find new friends online I am just trying to communicate with the friends I already have. My usage of Myspace is just to mess around with friends and to keep in touch with them. People just really need to stop taking this site so seriously and go out and meet people instead of trying to meet people online.

OUR Media

The media is changing right in front of our eyes. People’s cultures are changing as well as many different sources of gathering and distributing information. People in present time are more outspoken and are not afraid to question the media or add their input. There are many ways that the audience can become a news informer. There are blogs that accessible to anyone who wants to create one and they can practically talk about anything and anyone. There are web journals, an example is Myspace, and many other forms are reaching a big audience.

My generation has become more outspoken and express their thoughts and input of controversial and regular events through out the internet. The internet has become really accessible to many people now. There are many new websites that allows people to express themselves and be exposed by the whole cyberspace. People put really personal information about them but don’t realize who would be reading or can obtain that information. Blogging is a new way for people to express their thought of important events to be read by the whole world. There are many blogs that allow people to write about practically anything which has created many fears that the media and news stations will slowly fade away.

The media is changing because people change and new technology arises. Cultures change and the media might be the one who usually suffers from all these changes. People prefer to go online to know about the news instead of purchasing a news paper and reading it at home like the good old days. People seem to be busier and their loves seem to go by faster that they seem to reach out for more convenient and free ways of gathering their news.

The news world and media are changing because of the different generations arising. The media suffers, but still continues to find new ways to keep up with people’s generations and customs which are constantly changing.

ACEJMC Team that visited our school

I attended the meeting held in the DBH building in San Jose State were people from the ACE visited the JMC in the school. they asked the students weather what we think that should be done in order to improve the program and talk about the programs strengths. Students were commenting on how advising needs to be more accessible to students, because the JMC program only has one adviser that every student wants to see and is mostly never available. They also talked about some of the programs strengths which are their faculty that really help the students beyond just teaching. students mentioned several teachers that thought that really helped them throughout their school career. The meeting overal made me realize that the San Jose state Journalism and Mass Communication Program is beneficial in the career i tend to be a part of in the future

in class we made a old picture's cuallity improve by removing dust spots and black dots that made the picture seem ancient. i erased most of the black spots even the ones that were outside the black circle that we were instructed to do so

hey my name is Erik Estrada, i am an advertising management student in San Jose State University. I really enjoy eating,working out, and hanging out on weekends with the buds! oh nothing is better than good nights at a good bar in the great area of Downtown San Jose!!!!

As you look to the right you see a handsome person who is also really intelligent or so he is told every other day but doesn't like to brag.. lol
